GREEN AND BLUE CHECK BESPOKE JACKET - 2

Image
Custom Tailors in chiang Mai After some deliberation and skin tone checks we settled on fabric from our Premium Fabric collection . The bunch is a riot of muted and rich colors in plains and checks, all woven from either 250gram superfine wool. or 260gram super 160’s. As our existing clients will know, the first appointment with us is the longest. We always aim to get the garment as close to perfect as we can first time and our measuring is somewhat in-depth. Well this was the perfect example of what we aim for, with the garment being spot on first time. Balance was perfect, shoulders nice and clean, and with a lovely nipped in waist. Made in our soft style this really ticked all the boxes. New Moda Custom Tailors Email us at: tailormoda13@gmail.com Website: https://newmodacustomtailors.com/

GREEN AND BLUE CHECK BESPOKE JACKET - 1

Tailors in Chiang Mai We were recently commissioned by a client to make a bespoke jacket for his upcoming wedding. Weddings these days come in all shapes and sizes…..from the super traditional church weddings, to the more easy-going barn style. Each reflecting the style and characters of the lucky couple. This wedding erred towards the later and came with a brief. The client didn’t want to look traditional, it just wasn’t him. He wished to wear the item again and wanted something a little different, but still with style and class. He also wanted to feel comfortable and relaxed, whilst still retaining a sharp look. With this in mind we floated the idea of a jacket and trouser combo, which would open up his choice on the top half to the slightly more detailed jacketing fabrics , which tend to be woven slightly lighter and more open. On the bottom half we would then look for texture and strength to play a supporting role and the open weave of a high-twist wool would be ju

Brand New Patch Pocket Shape

Best Shirts in Chiang Mai   Although we always favor a timeless style its important to not stand still. Whilst we aim for a look and a style that transcends time we also consistently look for improvements. Its in our nature. With this in mind we felt it was time to give our patch pockets a bit of a reworking. The previous shape was very much an older English style with a pretty square pocket with rounded edges. This has been updated to a more rounded shape, curving in towards the mouth of the pocket. The rear of the pocket is also raised giving a slight tilt towards the front. Overall is a more modern shape and with its roots in the Neapolitan style. Whilst this may only be a slight tweak it does make a huge improvement to the overall feel of the jacket . Pair this pocket with a softer Neapolitan style shoulder and shaped foreparts and you are well on your way to a timeless yet current look.   Best Suits in Chiang Mai 2nd meeting: First fitting at the canvas stage The first bespoke suit fitting at the canvas stage is around 3-4 weeks after our first meeting, the suit will be half finished by our Master Tailor and ready to try on. We use this opportunity to mould the suit to your body, as well as looking at the way the suit fits. At this point we evaluate the suit fitting and make any necessary adjustments accordingly. It is easier to make these decisions when the suit is at this stage. This process will take 30 minutes. 3rd meeting: Final fitting This final bespoke suit fitting will be around 3 weeks after our second meeting. Your suit will be all ready to try on, at this point we ensure your satisfaction with the final garment. Best Tailors in Chiang Mai 1st meeting: Suit style This is the opening stage, we sit down and discuss cloths, suit styles and designs, and the end product you would like. If you are going to be wearing the suit to work for example we would recommend a more durable heavier weight wool compared to if you wanted a wedding suit where you could go for a light weight wool suiting with a more luxury feel and look for that special occasion. During the final part of the meeting we take your suit measurements and examine your body configuration. By this point we will have most of the ideas developed for you. This first meeting takes around 1 hour. New Moda Custom Tailors Email us at: tailormoda13@gmail.com Website: https://newmodacustomtailors.com/

Best Suits in Chiang Mai 11. Your Tie Knot Should Be A Reasonable Size Uh oh! Another one about ties !! The Windsor knot is the ideal and should help you to result with a perfect sized knot, practice is what is required to ensure it doesn’t leave your tie too short. If you struggle with knots then try the Pratt, it’s a little easier to master! 12. Your Tie Should Be Darker Than Your Shirt One could say that this is more of an advisory than a rule, but generally speaking, a tie that is darker than the colour of your suit will always look sharper. However it is a question of taste or maybe a colour theme that is being followed so you can be forgiven if this one isn’t adhered to! 13. Cut The Thread On The Vents And Pockets When You Buy It Any good tailor will have already taken care of this for you however for the balance of the suit always make sure that the pocket threads are cut and open. We are not suggesting that you fill them and then spoil the balance of th

Always make sure your socks are long enough to cover your legs when you are seated. Whether you opt for colour matched socks or you like to go wild with your Star Wars collection, just make sure that they are long enough! 9. Your Tie Should End At Or Just Before Your Belt Here is where you need to perfect you knot tying skills, and can be a case of trial and error. There should be no buttons visible below your tie and the tie should not pass the level of your belt! Good luck practising this one!! 10. Waistcoats Should Also Finish At Your Belt A 3 piece suit can be what sets you aside in a room full of suits , so lets make sure that waistcoat is just right! It should finish at belt level to prevent you looking like you are wearing a big brother hand me down! This will
