If you’re a man with a darker complexion, you have a lot of colors that will ultimately look great against your skin tone. Lighter cool tones in grey, blue and pastels really allow you to enhance your summer suiting and contrast against your skin beautifully. Bold and bright checks are your friend and darker cool tones of charcoal grey, forest green and maroon work as well as navy. Colors to stay away from are anything with a yellow-base. Think olive greens, yellow based khaki tones and muted mid based greens as they don’t contrast against your skin and will wash you out.

For the man with a lighter complexion, darker tones are your best friend. Look for colors that have a cool base colour as they will pop against your skin tone the best. Dark French navies, gunmetal greys, deep maroons, and purples will work the best. If you are to venture into a lighter palette, ensure there is a dark pattern, pinstripe or check running through the cloth to still allow for that distinct pop of color. Colors to stay clear from are you lighter warmer greys and lighter yellow’s, off whites and beige tones as they wash out your complexion and give a drab finish to even the most well fitted suit.

No matter the occasion, no matter the skin tone, there is always a color that will work best for you. Make sure to have fun with suiting and allow your choices to express your personality.

Weddings these days come in all shapes and sizes…..from the super traditional church weddings, to the more easy-going barn style. Each reflecting the style and characters of the lucky couple. Brand New Patch Pocket Shape

Best Shirts in Chiang Mai   Although we always favor a timeless style its important to not stand still. Whilst we aim for a look and a style that transcends time we also consistently look for improvements. Its in our nature. With this in mind we felt it was time to give our patch pockets a bit of a reworking. The previous shape was very much an older English style with a pretty square pocket with rounded edges. This has been updated to a more rounded shape, curving in towards the mouth of the pocket. The rear of the pocket is also raised giving a slight tilt towards the front. Overall is a more modern shape and with its roots in the Neapolitan style. Whilst this may only be a slight tweak it does make a huge improvement to the overall feel of the jacket . Pair this pocket with a softer Neapolitan style shoulder and shaped foreparts and you are well on your way to a timeless yet current look.   Custom Tailors in chiang Mai After some deliberation and skin tone checks we settled on fabric from our Premium Fabric collection . The bunch is a riot of muted and rich colors in plains and checks, all woven from either 250gram superfine wool. or 260gram super 160’s. As our existing clients will know, the first appointment with us is the longest. We always aim to get the garment as close to perfect as we can first time and our measuring is somewhat in-depth. Well this was the perfect example of what we aim for, with the garment being spot on first time. Balance was perfect, shoulders nice and clean, and with a lovely nipped in waist.
