Men Suiting Fabrics Part 2

Wool

The most popular fabric for suits is wool. Because wool is composed of natural fibers, it breathes exceptionally well for suits. It works well in both warm and chilly regions. A wool suit is the most common option for business dress because of its durability. A wool blazer can be worn semi-casually or business casually with separate slacks, jeans, or chinos. The main benefit of a wool suit is that it may be worn all year round due to its adaptability.

Tweed

The coarse wool fabric known as tweed is closely associated with Scotland and Ireland. Tweed is made to be worn throughout the year. It is enough warm to wear in the winter, but it is also breathable and water-resistant for days in the spring and fall.

Tweed is a multipurpose fabric that comes in a variety of colors, however earthy tones are the most popular.

Tweed blazers can be paired with jeans for a semi-casual style or with other types of denim for casual occasions. A full tweed suit could be appropriate for events that are more formal. The appearance is a lot closer to corduroy.
